
Terms of Shipment & Payment

- Place of fulfilment and jurisdiction
for delivery and payment is Bad Dürkheim.
- Shipping terms
All prices ex works include 19 % VAT. For shipments of less than 100 bottles within Germany the freight cost incurred will be charged in addition to the take-away price. For nationwide shipments of more than 100 bottles Euro 0,35/bottle is charged for freight.
- Risk of transport
Risk for goods in transit passes to recipient on dispatch. The transport company must be notified of any and all recognizable transport damages immediately.
- Notice of defects
Complaints and notices of defects may only be submitted within eight days of receipt of the Merchandise. Notices of defects do not entitle to reduction of price. Crystallization (Tartar) is natural and no reason for complaints.
- Payments
The strictly net sum invoiced falls due for payment a fortnight from the date of the invoice. Transfers must be made to the account indicated on the invoice.
- Reservation of title
The Merchandise remains the property of the Seller until it has been paid in full and all existing or future claims deriving from the business relationship have been settled. The Buyer is entitled to dispose over the Merchandise within the normal course of his business operations. In the event that the goods are sold on, the Buyer agrees to anticipatory assignment to the Seller of any claims arising from the sale.
- Placing an order
By placing an order, Buyer agrees to the above mentioned delivery and payment conditions. Any changes of the above need to be confirmed in writing. We reserve the right to replace a wine out of stock by an equivalent wine.
- Delivery abroad
The automatic calculation of freight cost in our online shop is only valid for shipments within Germany. Shipments abroad need to be calculated separately; upon receipt of your foreign order, you will receive an order confirmation from us, which will indicate the freight charges.
- Protection of minors
According to the Protection of Young Persons Act alcoholic beverages may not be given out to persons younger than sixteen years of age. Consequently we reserve the right to require some form of identification from new customers.
